Back from Hiatus
After a bit of a break, we are excited to jump back into blogging.
Much has happened behind the scenes at Roots & Wings this past year. Alongside the daily work of walking with children and families, we have completely redesigned the website to better reflect the heart behind everything we do.
It also marks a new beginning for our blogs. A new season (if you will) of intentional sharing of what God is doing in the lives of the children, families and staff who make up Roots & Wings International Ministries.
So stay tuned, because there are stories to tell. Quiet victories, difficult moments, lessons learned, and reminders of God’s faithfulness that we want to share.
Why It Matters
It is easy for much of the work that happens at Roots & Wings to remain unseen.
The day-to-day moments of growth, the slow process of healing, the math test that is passed, and the prayers spoken in counseling sessions are not always visible from the outside. But they are exactly where much of the real transformation happens.
Through this blog, we hope to share those moments. Not just the outcomes, but the processes. Not just the victories, but the bumps, stumbles and faithfulness required along the way.
As we begin sharing more regularly, we ask that you would pray for Roots & Wings.
Join the Work
This ministry has never been the isolated efforts of random missionaries in Mazatlán.
Every step forward has been made possible through the prayers, encouragement, and generosity of people who believe in the work God is doing here. So we invite you to continue walking with us.
Whether through prayer, sharing these stories, or giving, you are part of what God is building through Roots & Wings.
